| DESIGN NAME: Pomo PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sideboard INSPIRATION: Inspired by the movement of conceptual design, Pomo creates a visual game Moiré effect with the combination of two plywood while using the sinuous shape of the knobs repeatedly. Thanks to this game the Pomo sideboard vision generates a visual impact on the viewer. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pomo is a sideboard inspired in the conceptual design movement. A visual game to hide and show the door knobs and drawers from a subtle geometric style which confers an elegant character. Its hypnotic presence gives an unique personality wherever it is placed. Available in different wood combinations and in limited edition. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We wanted to play with the technique of using plywood to generate visual layers of natural wood tones and get a stunning visual effect and elegant at once. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Pomo is realized with plywood FSC certified in only 3 combined woods. The relevant detail is based on plywood combinations fixed in plane boards and CNC mechanized with fine craftsmanship finished in each knob piece to detail. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 1530 mm x Depth 460 mm x Height 730mm TAGS: furniture, design, sideboard, limited edition, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Investigating the movement of conceptual design, sideboard Pomo exquisitely sums up this movement with a touch of elegance and subtlety.
