PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry Collection
INSPIRATION: Τhe inspiration was drawn from the destruction of the environment and the possibility of technology's ability to contribute to the restoration, as the 3D printing brought to life these forms. The collection's animals are Sumatran Tiger, Javan Rhino, Western Lowland Gorilla, Saola the Asian Unicorn and Giant Panda.
FAID-Five Animals In Danger
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FAID collection is inspired by the animal kingdom. In fact from the list of the endangered animals due to illegal hunting or habitat loss. The trigonometric design refers to a digital format that will accompany us, as a memory in the near future after the extinction of the last populations.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Faid collection consists of pendants and rings. Their design combines a modern trigonometric transformation of organic forms in such a way that gives a durable but lightweight product. It makes the individual who wears it to be more protective to the nature and think of the results of his activity or inactivity.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project took place from July to October 2015 in Athens, Greece.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 3D designed and 3D printed jewelry. Then sterling silver lost casting wax system and handmade finishing. White or Black rhodium plated.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 18.5-22 mm height X 15-19 mm width X 12-15 depth / 3.6-4.3 gr weight depends on the design.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Numerous sketches in the paper and improvements in the three-dimensional design. Studies of the external dimensions and thickness of silver to make the pendants and rings comfortable and durable.
