| DESIGN NAME: Safira Griplight PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lighting INSPIRATION: Safira is inspired by the intention of solving messy accessories on the handlebar for modern cyclists. By integrating front lamp and direction indicator into grip design brilliantly reduce the number of accessories on the handlebar. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Safira is inspired by the intention of solving messy accessories on the handlebar for modern cyclists. By integrating front lamp and direction indicator into grip design brilliantly achieve the target. Also utilizing the space of hollow handlebar as battery cabin maximize the capacity of electricity. Due to the combination of the grip, bike light, direction indicator and handlebar battery cabin, the SAFIRA becomes the most compact and relevant powerful bike illumination system. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: PC(light body) ,silcon(Grip) and Aluminum(C ring) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: W:203mm xL: 72mm xH: 75mm Output 400lm, Germany K-mark Bikelight certification TAGS: Griplight, Safira, Bikelamp, Bikelight RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Due to the raise of environmental consciousness more people use bicycle as their transportation instead of cars. Also we want to give a clean handlebar back to cyclists. Safira is inspired by the intention of solving messy accessories on the handlebar for modern cyclists. CHALLENGE: Blending the high lumen front lamp and direction indicator into handlebar grip without causing abrupt form collapse is difficult. Otherwise, design a mechanism that transfer electric from handlebar to headlamp is also tricky.
