| DESIGN NAME: Leaves PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bedroom INSPIRATION: The inspiration of this design comes from the nature. The harmony of autumn colours affected the colors and materials used in this design. Generally, it is thought that preparing our comfort area is based on the warmth and cosiness materials used in. However, this project disproves the thesis by using cold materials such as ceramic wall tiles, concrete floor, copper lighting elements and glass wall panel. Using these materials with textiles, wood and warm colors make the room look cosier like autumn. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The pureness, comfort, harmony of form and color of the bedroom makes the bedroom special. The variety of materials such as copper, ceramic, concrete, linen, textiles, wood and coloured glasses makes the design more unique and attractive. The tiles used at the back of headboard is an unusual usage at bedroom. The panel used at the back of the Tv unit makes the room look more lovely. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Mutina Tiles' Tex were used for the wall covering at the back of headboard. The material of the headboard is a modular textile material which is compatible with tiles. Polished concrete was used for floor material. Stained glass used for the panel at the back of the TV unit. There are a hidden Led lights at the panel. There are vertical walnut elements used to in front of the panel with shelves. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 35 sqm TAGS: Interior, Bedroom, Comfort, Aesthetic, Design, Pure RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: If the project is evaluated according to cultural station of Turkey, such a modern design could be difficult for a client to embrace. Otherwise if the production processes are considered solving the joint details between glass panel, plinth and door was the hardest part of this design.
