| DESIGN NAME: Link PRIMARY FUNCTION: Broadcasting Equipment INSPIRATION: The personal broadcasting doesn’t differ from major broadcasting stations. when the major ground-wave broadcasting has many staffs and a lot of equipment, the personal broadcasting normally has only one person who perform multiple roles. I suggest the multifunctional broadcasting device that includes many functions of diverse devices and helps the personal broadcasters broadcast their personal programs who performed multiple roles. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The number of personal broadcasters and viewers is gradually increasing. However, it is still not easy for the personal broadcasters to prepare a lot of equipment to broadcast. So, the multifunctional broadcasting equipment ‘Link’ is suggested which is able to include diverse devices’ functions at once. The Link makes personal broadcasting easier by using the flexible body shape and the front and rear cameras. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The number of personal broadcasters and viewers is gradually increasing. However, it is still not easy for the personal broadcasters to prepare a lot of equipment to broadcast. so, the multifunctional broadcasting equipment ‘Link’ is suggested which is able to include diverse devices’ functions at once. The Link makes personal broadcasting easier by using the flexible body shape and the front and rear cameras. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in september 2015 in korea and finished in december 2015 in korea. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The broadcasting is available by the microphone at the front and the two cameras placed at the front and the rear. The front camera and microphone respectively shows the broadcaster’s face and voice while the rear camera shows the contents of the broadcaster. The personal broadcaster can effectively broadcast his face and contents through the two-in-one display. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 550mm x 12mm x 20mm Bend and fix the shape depends on the particular use. Using silicone rubber as the material for the body, the Link can be bended as needed. in addition, it can hold the body shape due to the flexible aluminum inside the silicone rubber. The Link can broadcast the contents in real time by that using IOT and connecting smart phones, smart watched and laptops. TAGS: Multifunctional, broadcasting equipment, camera, link, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: People can think the personal broadcasting might be easier than the ground-wave broadcasting when showing contents to viewers but it is more difficult as they think. The reason is that for person to start the personal broadcasting requires not olny one device, but also a camera, a microphone, a stand and etc. it is very inconveinent and inefficient in terms of cost. Consequently, the personal broadcasters provide program viewers with low quality sound and video in order to reduce the expenses for broadcasting kits.
