| DESIGN NAME: Queue Pendant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Architectural Lighting INSPIRATION: We conceived this piece as an alternative to the wan fluorescent lighting that workplaces have suffered through in the past. Because one of our core beliefs is the power of light to improve mood and productivity, we designed Queue to exude warmth; we fine-tuned its color temperature to offset the glare of the modern computer screen, and emphasized the beauty of its materials. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Queue is a linear LED pendant system with limitless potential, designed for flexible installation and an inviting presence. These 44-inch, 2300-lumen modular bars of light connect via linear sliding joints and hang from stainless steel wire loops, allowing for custom compositions tailored to the needs of the space. Units can be oriented either upwards or downwards in order to cast respective soft or direct lighting. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Queue consists of 44-inch, 2300-lumen, modular bars of light. These bars are comprised of a textured PMMA lens, anodized aluminum body, and connect via linear sliding joints. The fixture hangs from adjustable stainless steel wire loops.
