| DESIGN NAME: BE MODULAR PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bookcase INSPIRATION: The tile motifs has always been inspiring for me. While I was searching interesting tile motifs, I came across a photo of a wood pattern. This photo on Pinterest is the inspiration of the Be Modular Bookcase. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A bookcase with two modules, allows the user design her/his own bookcase. The modules are very unique in terms of appearance. Triangle is an unusual shape for bookcases. Each modules is a part of a motif, one is positive and the other is negative. Different combination possibilities of modules provides, personalized design opportunity, to the user which makes Be's design unique. The modules can be combined in many different ways, so Be Modular creates a center of attraction point in the spaces and reflects users' individual esthetic viewpoint. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Be bookcase fundamentally consist of two moduls. This two modules or each module in itself could come together in many different ways, so they constitutes bookcases appropriate to the user's needs and tastes. It can be a small shelf system consisting of only one or two modules or a huge bookcase which meets all the needs of the a home or an office. Be modular gives the opportunity to the user to reflect her/his identity in her/his living spaces.
