| DESIGN NAME: Monte Carlo Yachts 105 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Yacht INSPIRATION: The unveiling of the MCY 105, the largest to date, coincided with the five year anniversary of Monte Carlo Yachts, and the 32 metre flagship is the most tangible exemplification of the company vision and the best expression of the iconic, timeless style of Monte Carlo Yachts and the naval allure of its collection. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Featuring the iconic design elements of MCY collection such as a perfect balance of the hull and superstructure, a painstaking attention given to proportions, and an inherent dynamism of the lines coupled with a glowing distribution of light in the interiors, the MCY 105 is elegant and instantly recognisable. The interior spaces onboard the MCY 105 are incredibly voluminous, with solutions that are normally possible only on authentic mega yachts. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: MCY 105 stands out for her smooth lines and the high bow. From distance, the profile looks deceptively low, the horizontal bands of dark windows and white superstructure draw out the horizontal planes, fooling the eye. The bulwarks are sensibly higher than the current fashion and the overhanging side deck is wide and gives good coverage from the elements. The MCY 105 lines from Nuvolari and Lenard are distinctive and sophisticated, always concluded, nor superstructure nor hull shapes are prevailing: they logically match. The novelty lies in the beauty of a decisive approach which can soften once on the sea: the right choice for a yacht which can be relied on for top-level nautical performance and which looks to offer elegance in every detail. CHALLENGE: Featuring the iconic design elements of MCY collection, such as a perfect balance of the hull and superstructure, the MCY 105 is the result of a painstaking attention given to proportions, the inherent dynamism of the lines, and to every single detail, no matter how small. The MCY 105 is elegant and instantly recognisable, and the imposing bulwarks and high bow award the boat with the naval allure so distinctive of the timeless MCY style.
