PRIMARY FUNCTION: Calendar
INSPIRATION: My main inspiration was a problem that many young artists do not know how to represent themselves as well as their work. At the same time they don't know how to form their artistic reputation and start building their career.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Calendar 2016 - is created for artists! The main idea of this work is to help young artists from different art fields to start forming their artistic reputation and build their career. It consists of 12 different advises that can help to reach artistic success - each advise for every month of the year. It is like a small system which was structured according to marketing, social media theories and adapted to artistic environment. Short career tips in 12 pages leads to great decisions for a successful year.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This calendar gives 12 different tips how to form your reputation and build career as an artists in one year. It is a great opportunity to plan artists time and measure the goals that artists has reached within different periods of the year.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2015 and was finalized at the end of December 2015.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Calendar illustrations were made digitally - by drawing them with a tablet in Adobe Illustrator. Calendars printing technique is screen printing, it is binded with metal spirals. Each piece of the calendar is unique - because it is made on different papers (colorful, textured).
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Calendar size - A2, Width 594 mm x Height 841 mm.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The calendar was made according to marketing, social media, self-advertising theories and adapted to artistic environment. A book "Reputation Economy" by Michael Fertik was a very good source for the Calendar content as well.
CHALLENGE: To main challenge was to create a calendar that could help in building career for a specific group - artists. The second big challenge was that this work had to be very structured, simple, up-to-date and artistic, not a cliche.
