RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The theme of the interiors is East meets West, however few could deny the extraordinary opulence of splendor that lives here. Featuring glamorous Fior Dipesco Carnico marble throughout – even the exterior walls are clad in marble- this property offers a spectacular feast of European-style luxury combined with Chinese tradition. Chosen for its natural grains that resemble both a Chinese ink wash painting and Western landscape, the marble feature wall beautifully offsets the working fireplace, ensuring this space is brimming with European flair.
CHALLENGE: The goal behind the design of the house was to ensure the needs of each and every family member were met, and as such there are six public halls where they can entertain each other. The basement and ground levels tend to be bedrooms, the grandparents also have their own personal area on the ground floor so they don’t have to tackle the many stairs, while on the first and second floors, each brother occupies an entire storey with his family.
