Package Design of White Spirit
INSPIRATION:
The design inspiration is from the poetry "drinking" of the poet Tao Yuanming in China.
"I built a hut beside a path,
But hear no cart or horse,
You ask how this can be?
A distant mind is a far off place
Picking mums by the eastern fence
I lose myself in the southern hills.
The mountain air, the sunset light,
Birds flying home together.
In this there is a truth
To know, but not to say."
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
subwayThe bottle of the white spirit be designed by drop-shaped with the tippler image, what express the means of "one white spirit, one world" and " the wine tasting realize the meaning of life”; express the indifferent and peaceful willingness, natural feel, make one’s mind somewhat refuge, words finish but the meaning will be infinite.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Overall of the package give consumers a natural, simple, pure emotional experience; with a minimalist image, promote the design style of tippler's wine "simple, Zen".
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project began in November 2015 completed in Henan, China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The bottle with ceramic, the outside package and handbag are using reusable linen material, the packing box uses a low-carbon green kraft paper.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
In the current Chinese liquor market, in the reason of more types, coupled with the excessive packaging and too complicated and cumbersome bottle-shaped appearance, so making the choosing target of consumers is not focused, making it difficult to form a strong influential.
Lack of significant creative targeted on wine packaging, similar packaging products is abounded. Resulting share is low in market, and buy rate of customer is low.
CHALLENGE:
How to make the package of white spirit more environmentally, while using recycled materials, thereby reducing environmental pollution and waste; simplify the bottle shape and packaging design, design a unique visual symbols for making the package be formed a unique minimalist visual symbols.

Tippler Wine is a stunning example of excellent packaging design. It's amazing to see that Yong Huang's work has been awarded the A' Design Award! Tippler Wine is a truly inspiring example of great packaging design.
