| DESIGN NAME: Mod.01 Igor - The Illusionist Lamp PRIMARY FUNCTION: Adjustable table lamp for indoor INSPIRATION: The idea of the lamp Igor comes from the still image of a key moment of the performance art of a character in the show. The look of the actor-artist is facing the ball in his hand, as if contemplating the light that comes out. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The adjustable table lamp Mod.01 Igor – The Illusionist is realized in carbon steel, laser cutting, very ductile material and varnished in leather effect. Such varnish confers on the subject a precious look and with high design. The lamp housing, rotatable through an articulation in techno polymer, it has been thought in this way both for greater functionality and directionality of the light cone to illuminate both the template and the finishing of the same. The light ring is the fulcrum of an entire line of customizable templates which take form, taking function, while creating a magical and emotional ambience IGOR is an object of furnishing, created from the experience and the artistic representation of its author. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: IGOR is an adjustable table lamp different from the others, because arouses curiosity and a strong emotional impact on the spectator. It is an artistic lamp, a light-sculpture, a piece of functional décor, scenic, original and unique in its kind with well-defined identity. IGOR can be placed in any type of room ambient, from private to Contract and it may be realized also in floor and wall lamp. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project in floor lamp version started in October 2013 and finished in January 2014 in Gravina in Puglia (BA), exhibited in HOMI - the new large MACEF January 19 to 22 2014, Rho Milan to the picture show "CasApulia", following a selection for products made by young designers of the region Puglia in Italy. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The adjustable lamp is made of laser cut steel and craftsmanshipand, hand-painted orwith special effect paints for the Lux Line or with powder coatings for the Eco Line. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: W.330mm x D.19mm x H.47mm Lamp with switch barrel On/Off Strip led included – 25cm/30led Model 2835 Adjustable sphere Class II – IP 20 (Indoor) Mark CE TAGS: table lamp, adjustable, led, lighting, Look Light Italian Design, furniture, art, design, made in italy, craftsmanship RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For the realization, very complex and articulated of this lamp-object, which is born from artistic expression of a particular moment experienced by the author, it had to use necessarily a ductile material, easily workable and weldable which would avoid realization of molds and higher cost that would definitely lead to a reversal of the initial idea and the industrialization of a product that was born as a mere expression of experienced artist-designer. CHALLENGE: The creation of this lamp-object was a personal challenge, since the author has tried to translate from a real and material surface, the frame of a scene engraved in her memory and a sensation experienced on an emotional level. The experience, therefore, was represented in a concrete and real way through the birth of a lamp-object, which has been given an identity and a specified functionality, in addition to a very original aesthetic and pleasing to the spectator, through a ductile material and readily available.
