| DESIGN NAME: Dynamic Traffic Cone PRIMARY FUNCTION: Roadblock, lighting, reminderlight INSPIRATION: By considering of low-lighting roads always have more traffic accidents in our daily life, we offer you a new way about portable street lamp which also including environmental protection of electricity energy. It solved the problem of the traditional traffic cone can fall down and break easily,and difficult discover from a distance. It seems like a cone,but more than a cone. It can be used like a street lamp,but it is not only a lamp. Because of it, our journey at night is full of safety and convenience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our traffic cone is lighter and smaller. It is including three forms: closed, opening and extensional. It can be powered through solar energy panels under LEDS so that it can be street lamps at night. It is offering more convince at low-lighting roads in the dark night. If there is a traffic accident or work, our cones can catch more attention in automotive vehicles, non-motor vehicles or pedestrians. It can bring fun for the municipal worker when he takes in our cones like a spring OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Our cones have a easily operational approach, as long as you open the knob, LED lights can bounce like spring which is showing like a cone. As a indicator light, the LED which seems like a spring and knob can make our cones holding every kinds of board, fence or lamp-bost. When you take in our cones you can push it into a cube easily. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The bottom of the traffic cone made by organic plastics in One-time molding. The lighting helix we choose LED, and the electric power is from the solar panels under the traffic cone. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 380mm x Depth 380mm x Height 60mm TAGS: Lighting, travel safety, convenient for the municipal work, saving resource RESEARCH ABSTRACT: During our daily life, traffic cones is use in a highly frequency way, no matter the municipal work or the traffic accident, we always need some traffic tools which is protable and can be a warning role or isolation effect. Some how when we use these traditional traffic cones, we also need extra lightning. By the way, the storage and carrying of traditional traffic cone occupy too much public resources. In considering about these problems we found our point in beginning a new design. CHALLENGE: When we start the design of the new traffic cone, it was used so much time on the spring modelling. As a designer, we always try to find the way which is cheaper enough and including the Modelling methods which can give us visual feast. We also have a belif in that way Innovation could make more fun for the boring municipal work.
