INSPIRATION: Everything and nothing. Beginning and eternity at the same time. The circle and the sun is the sign of all signs. Full of meaning in every folklore, magical, for the Latvians the sun is the beginning of all life from which each flower and leaf uncurls in the life of the earth. Burning, burning, foaming. A creative explosion, passions, deep emotions.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Royale Fire Stone Brooch has big central stone which is catted in specific way to support the design . The central stone are enhanced with a sparkling diamonds which are set in different stone setting techniques.
Brooch from the back side is covered by azure snake skin ornament allowing the light go through the stones and assuring soft touch to the body . It also can be made as a pendant.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It also can be made as a pendant and to be worn with different length of chain to compliment the wearers image.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Royale Brooch was made in Riga August 2015 and is a part of Fire Stone collection . At first it was presented at International Jewellery London , London September 2015.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Royale Brooch is made from 18 K yellow gold, 4,2 ct Diamonds and Citrine
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions 40 mm * 12 mm. Citrine (19 mm /round ) 20 ct,
Diamonds VS, 1,5 mm/round and 2,5mm/round - 4,2 ct.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research has started with studies of Latvian as well as other nations mythology and symbolic meanings of Sun , Circle, Fire , Light, Life involving the internal investigation about what it means to me.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to make the brooch with big central stone that it would not become too high and heavy. For that purpose was made special cut for Citrine, its pavilion is less high than usually.Also the architecture of the peace are made airy, with empty space between circles and stones.
