RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As a result of a partnership with the Italian brand, Il Cantiere, that build an exceptional concrete pieces and architectures parts for names like Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster, we developed a serie of furnitures that defines brazilian culture through shapes and material. This particular one stand in the direction of expression and art, and easily translate the brazilian way of thinking to the world around. Drawing was a big part of the job, we create a bunch of sketches trying to archive the perfect aesthetic, and we did. The difficult part was to model in 3D. However once we have done it, bring it to life with minimal waste of material, was a beautiful job, and we could count with the help of 3D printer and high quality concrete modules.
CHALLENGE: The most challenging part was to create something original and yet iconic, that transcript our culture into a piece of furniture.
