RESEARCH ABSTRACT: "Since1984" was born from a simple idea : revisiting a fun game as a modular system for interior or exterior spaces. This is a game, an idea, fun and easy, accessible to everyone, sustainable, innovative and even if "old" unique and functional. Its versatility make this furniture system adaptable to multiple user scenarios. Its cost is contained while the functionality is great. After designing it, I didn't want to stop playing with it. It's fun and timeless.
CHALLENGE: The big challenge was building the prototype in the house trying to keep the cost low. We used a drill, a saw and screws. We left one side open and the other one could be removed to try to make it more functional as storage too. Beside the construction the design process was simple and fun.
