UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Minimal and elegant design converting a traditional Greek product to a piece of interior design. Combining the antique pharmacy bottle in a complete new & futuristic design bottle. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2014 and finished October 2014 in Lesbos island, Greece FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Food, Beverage and Culinary Arts Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Painted glass bottle SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 500ml TAGS: Elegant, minimal, greek, olive oil, Lesbos island, lazaridis RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We made a research in the 2500 years old history of Olive Oil in Greece, how it was produced and stored from the ancient era till the latest 100 years. Then we managed to print this historical data in an elegant and simple glass bottle. CHALLENGE: The hardest part was to combine this ancient product in a whole new modern packaging idea.
