| DESIGN NAME: RC 38100 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Settopbox Remote Control INSPIRATION: This design was inspired from Jedi Robes featured in the famous fictional film series “Star Wars”. During design process the influence of 38100 mostly came from Anakin Skywalker: front was from the jedi robe Anakin wore, back cover is an abstract form of dunes in planet tatooine where he came from. White – Black color selection is an attribution to the good and evil sides of him when he is “Anakin”. Black navigation buttons are representation of the “sith” inside of his self before he became Darth Vader. The simple yet elegant form is an attribution to the “force”. It is a part of the project called “SaberRC” in which team members experimented with the forms of lightsabers. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 38100 is a remote control design planned to be sold with Vestel’s new line of Settopboxes. It is unique with its elegant, slim and distinctive form, as well as voice control feature and ergonomic handling. Navigation button area, which is the most used element of remote controls, is emphasized with form in all direction, which helps users to locate this area easier without even looking. Contrast color selection also makes this area easier to locate when it is looked at.
