DESIGN NAME: Baia Formosa
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Table
INSPIRATION: It is a dinner table inspired by the shape of 60’s surf boards.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Baia Formosa (beautiful bay) is the name of a beach in Natal south coast where the Surf is a very common sport practiced by the locals and he tourists. This table comes like a tribute to this activity that dominates beaches. Inspired by the format of 60’s boards, this is an accent piece of design that causes impact everywhere in wich is placed.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This is a piece designed to be placed anywhere, there are four variations of sizes, ranging from 250cm to 400cm in length. It can be placed in a dinner room, and it can be combined with different styles of chairs in order to create a unique place. And as a piece of art too, the user can use this furniture in other environments, for example, in a living room.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2014 and took one month to finish.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The table is all made in a certified wood, Freijó, and finished with automotive painting in the white stripes.
