DESIGN NAME: Don't Forget Me
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Poster
INSPIRATION: The poster is a work created in pertinence to the drama "Don't Forget Me" joint-performed firstly by China-South Korea parts for commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, of which, I think that the essence lies in the humanity, family affection and love, and the work creation is inspired by the dove of peace, and soil of homeland.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The poster, for the purpose of commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, has a wounded "peace dove" in soil-made image, by which, the idea of "No War and Cherishing Peace" is expressed with unusual material and form presentation. In the client's words, it conveys the shock force of heart moving pertaining to life, humanity and love.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Through posters, newspapers and the Internet propaganda, to live theater experience.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This work, of the project started in November 2014 in Wuhan, China and finished in January 2015 in Wuhan, is used by Optical-valley Seers 17 Theatre.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: As of the work creation proceeding, firstly the graphics is made in manual drawing with soil, then details dealt with by brush and twigs trim, and finally the image created by shooting in the studio. For post-production the image processing software is used.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Poster Size: width 840 mm x height 570 mm, and produced in offset printing. The image is used also in handbags, brochure covers, and on-line promotion.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A wounded "peace dove" is in soil-made image, and the peace dove image is presented in unusual material and form for expressing the idea of "No War and Cherishing Peace", which involves researches in studying the peace dove image-making, methodology of soil image presentation, lighting of photography, and dealing with reflection of the soil material and its tension.
CHALLENGE: Change in the way of poster graphics presentation; expression of drawing with new material and image shooting; and turning of the visual feeling into the force of heart moving.
