PRIMARY FUNCTION: Calendar
INSPIRATION: The aim was to create a calendar that would be simple to use in business contexts. So we developed a multi-functional calendar that would appeal to those wanting a desk calendar as well as those wanting a personal planner.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NTT COMWARE’s 2015 “Multi-Use Desk Calendar” is a business tool offering a wealth of convenient uses. Combining monthly and weekly calendars with pages for notes, you can fold back the cover for use as a desk calendar. Stand it on your desk in the office, and fold it up to take with you when you go out.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Multi-Use Desk Calendar is a desktop calendar. It transforms to a handy schedule notebook by folding a stand.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: NTT COMWARE 2015 Calendar launched in January 2015.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Multi-Use Desk Calendar was realized through the finely detailed and highly advanced printing and processing technologies that are available in Japan, the country of quality manufacturing.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The theme of this project was that we created an unique calendar with functionality. At first, we researched ready‐made calendars in the market. We noticed there wasn't 2 way calendar.
CHALLENGE: Transformation from a notebook to a calendar is the most difficult. We developed original structure that a front cover is inserted to the ditch stamped on a back cover.
