| DESIGN NAME: SLAVIC SEASONS PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring and Pendant INSPIRATION: Three interchangeable elements, which shape resembles the famous Easter eggs represent three different layers of Slavic Culture - Folk art in the form of the element, decorated with blue and black stones, traditional folk embroidery; element with a pattern of leaves, which we associate with luxury Pavlovsky Posad shawls and traditional Slavic headdress - a handkerchief; and an element with an abstract decor inspired by internationally recognized masters of Russian avant-garde - Wassily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Marc Chagall. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is transformer ring, in which the central part can be either a pendant or a bracelet, tying on the wrist with a leather lace. The special design of the castle, which is located on both sides of the shank of the ring makes it easy to replace items depending on your mood or event on which jewelry is worn. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Can dress up as a single ring, as well as in combination with pendant and bracelet. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in April 2014 in Kiev and finished in June 2014 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This collection will be produce with gold casting and handmade technology. The Ring is made from 14K white, yellow and rose gold, with black plated finishing. Insert SWAROVSKI gems: Natural colorless topaz, Jungle Topaz, Topaz Paraiba, Topaz Blazing Red, Natural Black Spinel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The weight of he rings are between 18-23 grams, Width and Length of the rings are between 20-38 mm in both directions, ring sizes are 17.5 TAGS: Fine jewelry, Ring, Pendant, Unique, Abstract, Gold, Jewelry, Fashion, Luxury, Topaz RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The main difficulty in the creation of jewelry was to come up with the design side of the castle. Castle had to be comfortable and unobtrusive. Difficult to combine in a single ring three different styles. But his mistress every day gets a brand new piece of jewelry!
