RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With 'hibiscus' as my concept in mind, I focused on bringing in a new and unusual idea for a chair. Lot of sketches has been done to get the best shape for the chair with a very detailed research for the batik as the batik is the soul and main attraction for this chair.
CHALLENGE: The greatest challenge was to come out with the initial idea that fulfill my expectation of designing something which looks unique and functional.
