INSPIRATION: Design is inspired by nature. I'm really fascinated by plant life which is a true bursting of shapes and textures. Nature is everywhere around us and we sometimes forgot how it's a real part of our lives. It's in this plentiful universe I took my inspiration. Shapes, textures, structures of plant life are rich and fabulous, giving an infinity of possibilities.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Nature becomes a pretext to give life to jewels, playing with textures lights and shadows. The style is pure to reach the plant life substance. The aim is to create new shapes the nature would design them with its sensitivity and sensuality to provide a jewel which is unique as well as deeply connected to nature.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It connects the one who wears it to nature its sensitivity and sensuality.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2013 in Liege and finished in December 2013 in Liege. it was exhibited in the international jewellery show in Paris in January 2014

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: handicraft fine sculpture in wax then sterling silver lost casting wax system and hand made finishings to enhance textures. Some pieces are sometimes gold plated.

I love to collect fragment of nature to take off the substance of each shape, texture, structure. Each jewel is hand made finished to enhance the right detail.Nature is everywhere around us and we sometimes forgot how it's a real part of our lives. It's in this plentiful universe I took my inspiration. Shapes, textures, structures of plant life are rich and fabulous, giving an infinity of possibilities.
CHALLENGE: To emphasize the essence of plant life to design a smooth and sensual jewel both discreet and visible to get a timeless piece of Nature.
