| DESIGN NAME: FLUSH PRIMARY FUNCTION: Push Button INSPIRATION: design is a process, a series of steps. when, in considering an idea, a logical progression becomes evident, it validates the execution of that idea, this progression of steps is evidenced in the "unframed" intergration that is the essence of the fitted cistern. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We wanted to create an object that addresses contemporary architectural specifications and aesthetics we serve. In this way, FLUSH is on par with the other linings of a bath, and simultaneously haw no frame. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: - |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: plaque of fitted cistern (Flush no frame) is formed through the technology of moulds with the use aluminium. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: dimensions, width 200mm x height 120mm x depth 20mm materials coloured aluminium, chrome aluminium satine and glossy TAGS: push button, flush button RESEARCH ABSTRACT: my career as an industrial designer has taken me all over the world, exposed me to a myriad of materials and manufacturing techniques and provides constant inspiration to expand the realm of current practices to achieve new and interesting outcomes. CHALLENGE: the greatest challenge was to prototype a piece that requires this level of precision, all the while knowing that the technology exists to do so with ease. but, recognizing the simplicity of manufacturing such a piece, served as the greatest motivation to do so, by hand. NAME: Tsigaras christos. Studio of architectural and industrial design PROFILE: Christos Tsigaras created his own studio in 2012 having as an object the architectural design study, Supervision, as well as the project management in private homes and Business Premises. He owns Bachelor of Arts in Industrial design he is actively involved in the study and the construction of objects and he has been general in the field of Industrial design in Greece since 1990. He has taken parts in international competitions, exhibiting household objects in which he had the study and production as a whole. |
