DESIGN NAME: ADAGIO TOWNPLAZA
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lifestyle Stripmall
INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from understanding the needs of the people surrounding the area, it is 1 of the 10 malls included in the Towncenter project of the neighborhood. We acquired success stories from other shopping centers and combined this ideas in what the neighborhood demanded.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design its intended to make the lifestyle shopping center a well balanced place for the families so everybody can enjoy it. It has a main plaza where will have the most interaction during the day, and a 3rd floor with bar and restaurants which will come to life from 2 pm till midnight. The mall is dedicated to lifestyle.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design works for a lifestyle shopping center. Theme levels which are: Level 1: Family and day commerce, Level 2: Beauty, Health and Fashion, Level 3: Restaurants and Lounge Bar, allow a full balance different flow of people and the multiple access make it a very comfortable place to visit.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started on May 2012 and ended on May 2013

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design of the building is unique in which it invites the customers to stay in the Plaza for a long time, and because of the theme of each floor it will have different kind of people during the day. It also maximizes the exposure of individual commercial units due to its curved appearance.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project was created based on a conception of the owners backed up by 2 important market reasearch brands which work along with the arquitectural team to comply with all the design, commercial, operational and financial requirements that the new product needed.
CHALLENGE: To maximize the amount of leasable square meters with all the demands of the arquitectural aspects. In other words, maximize the value of the project to both consumers and investors.
