INSPIRATION: The Malaysian Ministry of Health launched the Nak Sihat or Be Healthy campaign to make Malaysians more health conscious and become fitter. The campaign is an avenue through which the Malaysian Government strengthens its endeavours to promote a healthy lifestyle and increase physical activity among Malaysians.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The campaign was launched by the Ministry of Health and the website offered a fresh energetic platform that embodied and encouraged healthy living. From the site Malaysians could create accounts by connecting to Facebook and start an Exercise Diary where a record of physical activity can be logged and achievements shared. The website also gives health tips ranging from the work out of the day, to how to start an active lifestyle and gives knowledge on the benefits of exercise.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Nak Sihat is an initiative by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among Malaysian youths. The minimal approach allows the youth and all members of the community to learn quick and vital facts about a healthy lifestyle.
