PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant
INSPIRATION: Kalamis Liman Restaurant, in the district of Fenerbahce, which is bordering on Bosporus; been there in order to serve the hotel was designed by Atolye A Architecture.An animated film was needed for the presentation of the project. The aim of the animated film which was prepared by Ayhan Guneri Architects, was reflected realism of the restaurant.

Project presentation prepared for the animation, 3dsmax, v-ray programs; xeon 16-core 48 GB ram dell workstation hardware was used.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Trials were rendering for Kalamis Liman Restaurant animation after process of modelling, mapping, lighting. Rendering scenarios were prepared by story board supervisor.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project duration is 4 months and location is Istanbul.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Visualization methods were applied separately for places which will be in the animation in order to appear as real. Therefore, photographs, films which belong to spaces were analysed for each places. For a restaurant, correctly prepared a service plate.
CHALLENGE: Places which will be in the animation were generated with the least possible number of polygon. Accessories that complete the places, extended the time of rendering although used v-ray proxy. It is not important for a render frame but it is very important for 6000-7000 render frame.
