PRIMARY FUNCTION: Connective Vehicle
INSPIRATION: The idea behind the interior design is inspired from plants and the way the different parts are connected to each other. All 3 seats are connected to a central stalk which provides a flexible seat arrangement. The key feature of the concept interior is space division for various purposes. Such an adjustable interior makes you able to store and carry goods as well as spending time with your friends and partners and sharing space and time with another Aura mates.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Aura concept is a futuristic 1+1+1 connective vehicle which makes people able to share space as well as lifestyle and ideas. This concept takes the advantage of a sculpture which completes a whole sculpture with another type of its own. Depending on the number of people, the interior seat segmenting helps the passengers have various positioning arrangements.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Aura design is based on a communication philosophy. In reality, each person has an individual aura which includes behaviors, moralities, ideas, tastes, etc. A communication between two people can be formed when their auras have an intersection with one another. The concept comes with advice called Aura Bracelet/Ring which enables the user to record data, even when they are not in the car. It is also a fashion accessory which is a physical connection between the user and the vehicle.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This Project was done between March and May 2012 in Tehran

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The electric power train moving on 4 spheres is hidden under the entirely new sculpture made of carbon fiber. Aura concept is designed for urban and metropolitan areas and offers flexible interior seat segmenting. Around the exterior, display are made out of Mirasol technology. Mirasol displays bring living color to technology by applying one of nature's most remarkable innovations-the butterfly's wings. These highly developed structures reflect light so that specific wavelengths interfere with each other to create nature's purest, most vivid colors. Actually butterfly wings are made of very thin layers of a hardened protein called chitin. (Your hair and nails are also made out of this protein). Chitin broke daylight and provide many new colors. Mirasol technology works as Chitin-very thin layers of a hardened protein- in displays. Back of each seat is made out of carbon fiber and seat frames are made from brushed aluminum. Handles supporting seats are made out of carbotanium.

CHALLENGE: Finding rational relationship between future design elements and future trends. Also matching the future consumer needs with the structure of future city was another challenge during of design process.
