| DESIGN NAME: Barcycling Chair PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bar Chair INSPIRATION: The part of the seating of barcycling designed as traditional bicycle saddle, and the risings at the four sides of the saddle provides safe sitting. The torn at the back of saddle, serves as a handle to move to the desired location. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Barcycling is a bar chair which is designed sports themed spaces.The part of the seating of barcycling designed as traditional bicycle saddle, and the risings at the four sides of the saddle provides safe sitting. The torn at the back of saddle, serves as a handle to move to the desired location.Pedals are providing the ability to hold for the feet while sitting at the same time enables you to reach the desired height by turning the pedals.It is a new bar chair of bar and spaces. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The aim of the project that provide a function to a standart bar cahir. The design make people more comfortable with moving pedals. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Creating the skeleton of the seat polyurethane and the top of seat covered with hand sewing leather. While the softness of polyurethane, natural leather and hand sewing quality symbolizes durability. Pedals which are located in the central part of the aluminum monoblock body, providing the ability to hold for the feet while sitting at the same time enables you to reach the desired height by turning the pedals. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The aim of project is, designing a bar chair that can be use in all entertainment spaces and fitness centers, which is dynamism loaded.Sitting for long periods, it should allow to change that the sitting position. Dynamic use should be. It should be a design that integrated with name of itself. Bicycle which is inte fitness centers, is object of sport that carrying bikes on the street to the gym. Barcycle designed as a witty bar chair which provide different seating positions with pedal. CHALLENGE: We were not challenge any difficulties during the design, but we had difficulty in presentation period. Because, we are interior architects and we do not know how should the industrial design present.
