| DESIGN NAME: Eterna PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modular Lighting Fixture INSPIRATION: The main design idea of ETERNA is to meet the recent tendency in architecture “nature-inspired organic form” and to bring a new vision in existing modular lighting fixtures' two dimentional structures. Reclining forms of the nature is the inspiration point of Eterna. Fluid and continuous forms of deserts and waves are the inspiration of the design. With its fluid and continuous form, Eterna provides a creative and suitable design language for various architectural spaces and enables interior designers, architects or users to be creative and free when designing their own ceilings. When Eterna is combined side by side, it is spreadable in both axes endlessly, So, desired shape and amount of surfaces can be created by users. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: “ETERNA” is a modular recessed lighting fixture designed for suspended ceilings. The philosophy of the design is to create an innovative, comfortable and healthy lighting fixture that offers endless creativity and sustainability for users. Eterna’s innovative form is beyond the limits of traditional two-dimensional modular lighting structures. It creates a new vision in modular lighting category with its three-dimensional organic form inspired from nature and brings a new dynamism, ambience and aestheic value in various architectural places. The design language explored in Eterna is the fusion of streaming surfaces as the reclining forms of deserts and waves. The main conceptual terms of the design are fluidity and continuity which best describe the appearence of Eterna. Its unique and innovative form enables it to be combined with each other in both axes endlessly. So, it enables the users to create fluid and continuous surfaces on ceilings with desired amounts and shapes. Also, Eterna is an environmentally friendly, energy efficent and sustainable lighting fixture with its innovative lighting technology. "Circadian Lighting System" is an innovative technology providing the most comfortable and healty light control in accordance with people biorhythm depending on the light intensity and color throughout the day. So, with the benefit of latest LED technology, totally homogeneous light distribution and natural light views are provided for users. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Main aspect of the design is to emphasize the lighting and production quality as well as aestheic value. Eterna is produced by implementing a special lighting technology and a special diffuser. "Circadian Lighting System" is an innovative technology providing the most comfortable and healty light control in accordance with people biorhythm depending on the light intensity and color throughout the day (It is shown in the video). Different colors of LED sources are used to give such as clear sky, lunch or evening sunset light effects with hand remote control. So, users are provided to take balance of the hormonal activity during the day. For the lighting quality, latest LED technology and the special diffuser are used to achieve maximum light output with homogeneous light distribution and natural light views. It means that more light output is achieved with less energy consumption and material usage. LED sources are not only energy efficient and long-lasting technology, but also harmless to human health and environment without containing mercury and harmful waste when they distort or break. At that point, Eterna is an environmentally friendly, energy efficent and sustainable lighting fixture. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Eterna is a modular recessed lighting fixture, consist of a standart recessed body and a front diffuser. Dimension of the standart recessed body is 60 . 60 cm sized. 0,70 mm high quality steel sheet painted with electrostatic powder paint is used for the production of the body. Diffuser is produced from 3mm acrylic or policarbon with vacuum technology. Its highest point is 5cm sized in Z axis. Lighting type is low power 21W-41W-46W LED.
