PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Multifunctional Loom
INSPIRATION:
The opportunity to turn residues into functional products, with design and artistic value. Increasing the wellbeing of the User while collaborating with reduced environmental impact.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Conductive Loom brings a great innovation for the textile area, uniting art, technological innovation and sustainability. Its main element is the conductive wire, wich is produced from an environmental liability, arising from the process of making biodiesel. Its major feature is to be conductor of energy thereby it is possible to discharge the static energy of the users, eliminating several problems caused by the accumulation of this energy: stress, insomnia, chronic fatigue, muscle aches, shock and damage to electronic components.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The loom conductive should be in contact with the User and the floor of the house, apartment or office. Or on chairs, tables, beds that have metal feet. If the User is using a piece of apparel made with conductive loom, should use shoes that are not rubber soles.

The main challenge was to develop a sustainable product, which bring increased well being of people.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The loom is made with conductive wires, silk and cotton. It can be made in any dimensions and several colors.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The objective was to develop a product that would bring real benefits to the User, the data were collected through the internet and consultation directly with doctors specialized about scientific research performed on the harmful effects of static electricity on people. Prospects of achieving the international design and fashion decoration market, hotel , spas and clinics market.
CHALLENGE:
During the creation process, we seek the best way to use the wire, maintaining its characteristic conductive and presenting a final product with beauty and functionality.

Our products are developed with natural raw coming from various biomes leveranging: Forest residue; natural fibers, plant tissues, seeds, leaves dehydrated, Golden grass, using biovegetal resins , Ecoresins derived using waste Biodiesel , conductive wires and Photoluminescent pigments.

I'm absolutely amazed by the ingenuity of the Conductive Loom. It is a perfect example of how technology, art, and sustainability can be combined to create something truly unique and beneficial. The use of conductive wire made from a recycled environmental waste product is truly inspiring and provides a great example of how our society can be more conscious of its resources.
The Conductive Loom is also incredibly practical in that it can discharge static energy from users, thus eliminating the problems that it can cause. This is a great way to reduce stress, insomnia, chronic fatigue, muscle aches, shock and damage to electronic components.
The A' Design Award was an incredibly well-deserved recognition of the incredible work of Stella Nanni.
