PRIMARY FUNCTION: Showroom, Retail
INSPIRATION: Inspiration of this design by using requirement of simulating was determined as an important starting point for the people whose work life is in offices and meetings, whose night life is in organizations and social activities.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The showroom was prepared in the last quarter of 2012 for a firm which is active in the international arena and an important brand in footwear industry, met with visitors.The themes of different spaces that forming complex was prepared with inspiring styles of shoes and the complex occured that composed of showrooms and a lounge.To be able to express the specified styles, different manufacturing methods, technologies and materials used and all spaces are progression of continuum with used style.
Showroom : The shoes that manufacture with natural leather and ecological bases, are exhibited in the space. Stone of creek that slice aligned on net create floor covering. Sewing panels that imitate buffalo leather, create moduls of wall. Disaggregated bamboo ulf maritz papers create the walls. At the same time, ovoid form American tickory wooden boards wrap the space all around. The soft lines of shoes cannot overlooked while interpreting the place.
To represent the other group elegant shoes that display in this place, second layer ceiling and eight exclusive design lighting component, while creating mood, at the same time make it feel self with amorph line in this place.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Classic shoes are exhibited in this showroom. During design the showroom, this kind of shoes that where these are used in, was researched. Requirement of simulating was determined as an important starting point fort he people whose work life is in offices and meetings, whose night life is in organizations and social activities. Physical condition of space, properties, product research, story of space were evaluated. Then selection of material fictionalised and material production methods were determined. Firstly, designs were transfered to conceptional Project and turned to be sketches. The adequacy of manufacturing was determined with sketches and transfered to CAD as application Project 1 and application Project 2.
CHALLENGE: During the realization of the Project was needed in solving variety of problems. Primarily, manufactures that were both in construction area and workshops, bringing together in disciplinary, was an important problem for the project. The other problem was that difficulty of applying the manufactures within the budget. And the other one was that difficulty of ending of showroom and building at the same time.
