| DESIGN NAME: Dahom CFL Candle PRIMARY FUNCTION: Energy Saving Candle Lamp INSPIRATION: To create an energy saving lamp that can replace the traditional incandescent candle, saving up to 65% of the energy used. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Dahom CFL Candle when used in the home behaves and looks exactly like the traditional incandescent candle but without the heat generated and the energy used. In fact, it saves at least 65% of the energy used. Generally a 7W Dahom CFL Candle can replace a 40W incandescent bulb, without compromising on its size. And in order to achieve the frosted look and feel, instead of using acid to frost the glass, Dahom cleverly uses a patented silicon sleeve. This not only delivers the frosted look, it also makes the light output more even and environmentally friendly. The silicon sleeve has an added function to ensuring safety.
