| DESIGN NAME: Li Yuan Restaurant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: Flower UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: - OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is a restaurant project located in Xiamen. Associate with the name “LiYuan Restaurant” in thinking of “beautiful flowers”. So, I conceive the concept with flowers as starting point, and design the LOGO with flower shape. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in January 2011 in Xiamen,China, and was opened to custom in March 2011. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Oak, Burdur Beige，Cranberry Glass，Metallic Paint，Paint，Cham SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 18000 SQ FT TAGS: Flower,Chinese culture RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The whole space starts like a font connects by a tunnel in the middle, one side is the main dinner area and the other side shows as the distinguished box. The box is very flexible which can separately use or merge together. The topic of flower is used in different ways. It can be the cool frosted glass carving or the real rice paper painting hanging in the wall showing the essence of Chinese culture. CHALLENGE: The topic of flower is used in different ways.
