| DESIGN NAME: Bird Nest PRIMARY FUNCTION: Gold Ring INSPIRATION: the inspiration of this design comes from when i saw a bird nest ,usually female birds build the nest, in my oponion bird nest is a symbol of the sacrificing of a bird for her family, i just think how a bird nest can come into a gold ring to present it as a symbol of the hardworking and self-devotion, UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: the inspiration of this design comes from when i saw a bird nest,usually female birds build the nest, bird nest is a symbol of the sacrificing of a bird for her family,i designed this ring to present it as a symbol of the hardworking and self-devotion OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This ring can be operated like any other jewelry and gold jewelry, even it can build with hand with a jeweler. but professional and experienced jeweler. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This ring designed in June 2011 and redesigned and edited in September 2012 , designing and editing this model takes over 40 working hours, |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Material : Rose Gold this model can be produced with Electro-fusion system, or Direct casting or Lost wax casting system, so it can be made with with 1 or 2 separate parts, SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Product dimension is : 26 mm Height, 25 mm Width and 24 mm Length (From top View) its a easy to wear ring with observance of technical and organic standards, TAGS: Bird Nest ring, Gold bird nest, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Searching in Nature of birds life, animals, how they live, how they make their home, how a bird feeds his/her child,and how it could turn to a jewelry to respect them, CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge during making this design is how to design something like a fabric or knot shaped pipes which could be produced with 3D printers without no problem, so it was solved after a hard working on the process of CAD/CAM and working on 3D Geometry file, ADDED DATE: 2012-05-15 22:12:54 TEAM MEMBERS (1) : IMAGE CREDITS: Seyed Mohammad Mortazavi, 2012. |
