| DESIGN NAME: Skyedge I I Aries For Gilat PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modem For Gilat Satellite Networks INSPIRATION: - UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The “Skyedge II Aries” is a domestic satellite communication modem that represents a new generation of satellite network devices. The main objective was to create a clean and simple product that optimizes heat dissipation while hiding the ventilation openings. Employing a design language without draft angles where everything intersects at 90°, we integrated the louvers and led lights into a simple geometric pattern. It’s simple basic form is friendly and precise so it would blend into the surrounding architectural environment.
