INSPIRATION:
From the same lamps, their design and their manufacturing

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A small metaphor of the lamps DRESSLIGHT Barcelona, Fashion and Light Fusion. A new concept of lamps in which light fuses with fashion, art fabrics with design tradition, to result in a unique product, reflection of the personality owner. It is a different way to see the light.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Send it by standard mail to the personal mail adress of 50 exclusive prospects selected: act as opinion leaders among which are architects, decorators and interior designers, etc.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Septembre 2010 in Barcelona, Spain and finished in same September (two weeks left) in Europe.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Like the kaleidoscope, made with the same materials that lamps are made (covered on the outside for 50 unique designs of fabrics and stuffed with minimal parts of materials are also used in making them: chopped glass, sequins, skin or tulle, beads, etc.). Designed exclusively hand-made (craftwork or arts and craft) in an edition limited to 50 copies. A gift that will allow a select high-level target selected from our database of professional and act as opinion leaders among which are architects, decorators and interior designers, who will ever seen the light differently, as with DRESSLIGHT lamps.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Packaging: 21 cm x 5 cm ø (craft and plastic) + letter + label Kaleidoscope: 16, 5 cm 100% hand-made, lineds with same fabrics that lamps are made and stuffed with parts or materials are also used in making them: chopped glass, sequins, skin or tulle, beads, etc.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
World Luxury Awards, that recognizes the better of the creativity in products of luxury, awards Dresslight in the category Home&Living. Dresslight not only it identifies by its cutting edge concept in lighting but also all their work and communication is made with details that reflect the stamp of your brand. WLA has considered reward his piece Direct Marketing's Kaleidoscope, for being a detail of luxury for customers and specifiers select of Dresslight.

CHALLENGE:
Kaleidoscopes have been created as a small metaphor of the lamps in which the light has fuses with fashion, 50 pieces of limited edition elaborated to hand with the same materials that are created the lamps, are the most nearby example (the challange was to make see the prospect people how it feel with a detail) of seeing the light of form unique and different. And find an art&craft person that make it real!

PROFILE:
Dresslight BARCELONA was created with the clear vocation of creating lamps based on the excellence of their elements as a whole. The fusion of materials and textures, the care taken during the manufacturing process and the desire to serve customers in order to convey the idea of owning a unique and exclusive piece. We conceive our designs adapting to each context of use, we select special materials (haute couture, blown glass) that bring new effects and sensations and we take care over the details and finishes. In short, we create lamps that have their very own personality, that convey a distinction to the environment by and for which they were created. DRESSLight combines haute couture and lighting, the selection of fabrics is based on exclusivity, craftsmanship and quality. Our lamps may be made from silk, lace, sequins and all types of fabrics used by the most prestigious designers on the world's catwalks. From an initial briefing based on customer's idea or the aim of the project, we develop a new design. Apart from the basic functional aspects of a lamp, DRESSLight Barcelona values other technical, aesthetic and exclusivity equirements.
