RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The objective was to create a visual identity that honor Tuscany's cultural heritage while reflecting the villa's history and new owners' vision. I used a mixed-methods approach, combining interviews, historical research, and visual and architectural explorations. The research enhanced the villa's appeal to tourists seeking authentic and memorable experiences. It also demonstrated the potential of design to bridge cultural divides and promote heritage preservation in global contexts.
CHALLENGE: The creative challenge was in seamlessly blending the rich heritage of Tuscany with the new vision of a memorable place of art, culinary exploration, and intercultural dialogue. It required striking a delicate balance between honoring tradition and embracing modernity. Overcoming challenges involved reconciling cultural aspects, and ensuring historical accuracy while meeting contemporary design standards.
