| DESIGN NAME: Showven Maiman PRIMARY FUNCTION: Laser INSPIRATION: When I saw a lot of lasers, heavy, fragile, and inconvenient to operate, I wondered why lasers always grow into a look - four square, without any rounded corners. When you adjust the angle, you have to unscrew a bunch of screws, and on rainy days also have to put a protective bag for it. So the material and structural innovation make the appearance solid and rounded, it easy to adjust the laser angle, and it reaches the IP65 level and can be used on rainy days and create a good laser effect. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Maiman series full-color RGB lasers with double-layer structure, lightweight but robust. IP65-rated enclosure ensures it can be used without a protective cover even in the rain. Pure diode light sources guarantee higher reliability and smaller beam divergence angles. Equipped with a safety switch key, remote E-stop function, etc. ensure safety and controllability. For longer service life, lasers have PWM fan control, noise reduction design, real-time temperature monitoring, etc. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: There are very few screws in the whole product, the lens cap is designed with a slide, and its carrying handle also serves as a tool to adjust the laser angle. It has a lot of pre-made graphics built in. Even without using professional FB4 software you can have many laser effects. Of course, you can get more functions by using FB4 software. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2010 in China and finished in January 2014 in China, and was exhibited at Prolight + sound 2024 in March 2024 in Frankfurt. Research Objectives:Miniaturi CHALLENGE: We have been solving the problem of how to put such a high-power laser in a small size and also meet IP65-rated waterproof performance. Because from experience, it takes a large space to fit so many parts in, and a small volume means miniaturization of many core parts and redesign of structure and heat dissipation. In the end, we made a lot of innovations in materials, structure, waterproofing, optics, and heat dissipation.
