| DESIGN NAME: Diamond Damour PRIMARY FUNCTION: Couple Perfume INSPIRATION: Crafted from the profound philosophy of Yin and Yang, originating from the heart of East Asia, this exquisite couple's perfume package unveils the essence of interconnected yet opposing forces. Within this creation, known as Diamond Damour, men and women harmonize as complementary energies, their unity a testament to inseparable love. This fragrance transcends the confines of mere scents; it is a poetic ode to romantic love, a timeless elixir that transcends the boundaries of time and space, immersing one in the infinite expanse of love's embrace. Within its essence lies the eternal allure of falling irrevocably in love. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Diamond Damour embodies the essence of love's strength. Men and women, as depicted in this creation, exist as harmonious yet distinct forces, each offering unique qualities that complement the other. The intricate cuts adorning each side of the perfume glass symbolize these differences, showcasing the beauty in diversity. When these contrasting elements unite, they form a complete and dazzling diamond, a testament to the power of unity in love. Beneath each glass, harmonious magnets delicately suspend the vessel, adding a touch of enchantment and enhancing its overall allure. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main challenge in depicting the infinite point of love, where all boundaries dissolve and the souls of man and woman, with all their goodness and flaws, merge, has been met by suspending scents through harmonious magnets underneath and their bases, showcasing this eternal power. By contemplating the philosophy of Yin and Yang, one can portray the contradictions of this precious feeling by illustrating a diamond, which, like eternal love, shines brightly from its pure intensity. A pair of perfumes, with their asymmetric cuts, together form Diamond Damour. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2021 in Tehran and finished in October 2022 in Tehran. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The perfume is made of transparent glass, symbolizing the transparency and purity of love. Placing both perfumes side by side forms a complete diamond shape, distancing itself from its underlying rocky base. Like a love that captures the soul of the lover and reaches its peak, inducing a feeling of weightlessness and perfection. A minimal base is designed to suspend the perfume, so that Diamond Damour can showcase itself at the center of attention in its space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 120mm x Depth 120mm x Height 180mm TAGS: Perfume, Packaging, Design, Couple, Unique, Luxurious RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the heart of the earth, under immense pressure, diamonds are formed, each with its own unique beauty. Just like diamonds, love also springs from within our hearts, carrying us beyond all boundaries. As in the concept of Yin and Yang where opposing forces interact, in the structure of diamonds, there exists the contrast of transparency and resilience, something undeniable in the essence of love. The power of love is so impactful that it captivates the human soul and transports them to a world beyond their imagination. A place where it seems the force of gravity has been forgotten, and the fearless diamond of love dances freely in the air. CHALLENGE: The most significant challenge was achieving precise and coordinated fracture angles in the perfume design. When two fragrances are placed side by side, the lines of broken angles must align along their length. They should intertwine like complementary pieces of a puzzle while preserving an identical overall shape, so as not to deviate from the concept of Yin and Yang. Simultaneously, maintaining the balance and equilibrium of the fragrances on the stand was paramount. It symbolises liberation and reaching the pinnacle through the power of love.
