DESIGN NAME: To the Heart?
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book
INSPIRATION: "To the Heart? Management in the Anthropocene as Management of Social Engagement" is a publication that examines management directions in the Anthropocene era, with a particular focus on managing social engagement.
The graphic design of the cover and title pages employs a vivid red color, applied with spray paint, which contrasts with clear, albeit somewhat minimalist typography. This approach aims to evoke and stimulate the reader's emotions and engagement.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The book project focuses on three main sections: "To the Heart through Media," "To the Heart through Music," and "To the Heart through Marketing," each comprising three articles. The scientific editing was carried out by Dr. Michał Pałasz. The publication was digitally released by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, in collaboration with the Jagiellonian Library. It spans approximately 350 pages.
Typography: The titles are set in Mateusz Machalski's Salo typeface. Salo is a variable font, combining elements of both serif and sans-serif Italian typographic styles.
The entire publication is maintained in a black-silver-red color scheme. The publication does not contain any illustrations or photographs.
