| DESIGN NAME: E-Bike Xafari PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Bicycle INSPIRATION: We aim to deliver exceptional comfort for recreational riders or those embarking on endurance journeys, all while ensuring off-road capabilities. Our goal is to make the experience of using E-bikes effortless and intuitive for all riders. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Xafari, designed for outdoor enthusiasts, boasts 26x3.0 tires and full suspension for comfort on leisurely rides or off-road excursions. Its gravity cast frame ensures seamless construction with intricate details, while a sleek design reminiscent of Segway's previous models features a robust pivot and semi-integrated shock absorber for added comfort. With a powerful 913Wh battery and 750W motor delivering 80Nm torque, it effortlessly handles diverse terrains and steep inclines for all-day adventures. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As you approach the bike, Xafari can recognize the user via phone connectivity and turn itself on, no need physical key or password; Beyond these conveniences, it is an intelligent perception and interaction system, we continuously adapt functions for different scenarios, to improve the safety and usability of the vehicle, such as automatic headlights that adjust to the light of the surroundings, and initial power assist. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was initiated in Shenzhen, China, in April 2023. After six months of development, the prototype was successfully validated. Mass production commenced in October 2023, and it is scheduled for full-scale production in July 2024. |
