| DESIGN NAME: Plusoptix A20 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Binocular Autorefractor INSPIRATION: Especially for children, preventive exams are vital for healthy development - it is worth making them easier for both, patients and eye care professionals Providing clear and reduced design ensures simple and safe handling. The smiley face on the front directs the child's attention (and thus the gaze) during the procedure. Intuitive operation via the touch control panel facilitates swift and easy measurement. A plug-in carrying strap relieves the user during long term serial examination. The round cradle serves as stable home base. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Humans get the most important sensory impressions through their eyes - if they work properly. The autorefractor plusoptiX A20 empowers eye care professionals to detect vision disorders for patients starting from an age of 5 months. The unique specialty: measuring the refractive state of both eyes at the same time from a distance of 1 meter and within seconds - even with patients who are not able to cooperate.
