DESIGN NAME: Longevity Oasis
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clinic Interior Design
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the vision to redefine healthcare environments, our motives stemmed from enhancing patient well-being and comfort. Drawing inspiration from natural forms and innovative concepts, our design concept was born. Extensive research and collaboration with medical experts informed our decisions, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics. This project aims to pioneer a new standard in medical facility design, promoting tranquility and holistic care for longevity and well-being.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design represents a pioneering approach to medical facility design, integrating spa-like elements within a public hospital setting. Its circular layout and use of natural materials evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony. The integration of elliptical centers enhances flow and accessibility, while the incorporation of smart design elements, such as dual-use spaces, optimizes functionality. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Visitors enter the center through a welcoming reception area. Inside, they find two main elliptical zones, each with various rooms and functions. The rounded layout ensures smooth movement, avoiding sharp corners. Doctor's visits are conducted in comfortable spaces, promoting a relaxed atmosphere. Waiting areas are scattered throughout, creating a hospitality-like experience. The staff kitchenette area doubles as a meeting room, maximizing space efficiency. The design fosters a calming environment, enhancing the user experience and well-being.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Welcome to our groundbreaking interior design project! Our entry, the world's first longevity clinic situated within a public hospital, is a testament to innovation and vision.
Over the course of a year, encompassing 7 months of meticulous preparation and 5 months of precise execution, we undertook extensive research and planning to bring this concept to life.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Our design integrates advanced production technology with innovative design methodologies. We utilized CAD software for precise modeling and prototyping, ensuring efficient space utilization. Materials like granite and porcelain were chosen for durability and aesthetics, while smart lighting systems enhance ambiance and energy efficiency. Human-centered design principles guided layout decisions, optimizing user experience and flow. Collaboration with medical experts ensured alignment with healthcare standards, enhancing the center's functionality and impact.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The center's dimensions span approximately 500 square meters, with each elliptical center measuring 20 sqm and 3 meters in height. The reception area is 30 Sqm, while the doctor's rooms are designed in 12 Sqm. The waiting areas and relaxation corners vary in size, providing ample space for users to unwind. Materials such as granite porcelain, and wood are meticulously selected for durability and aesthetic appeal, contributing to the overall ambiance of the center. Lighting fixtures and skylights are strategically positioned to maximize natural light and create a soothing atmosphere.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Our research aimed to innovate hospital interior design for longevity research, challenging norms to create a spa-like, healthy aging environment. We used diverse methods including literature review, interviews, and surveys with medical professionals and users. Findings emphasized the need for soothing, welcoming healthcare spaces promoting well-being. This research can positively impact society by improving patient experiences and promoting healthy aging in healthcare design.
CHALLENGE: The design's challenge lay in balancing innovation with medical facility practicality, navigating regulations while pushing hospital design boundaries. Incorporating a spa-like feel in a public hospital demanded material, functional, and user experience considerations. Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere posed a creative hurdle. Overcoming these obstacles involved close collaboration, thorough research, and innovative problem-solving to realize our vision while meeting practical needs.
