DESIGN NAME: Back Portrait
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Each Bubble is Unique Portrait
INSPIRATION: In the midst of contemporary social constraints, people are compelled to compromise some autonomy in order to obtain limited freedom and rights in the system. Prolonged exposure to such circumstances results in a gradual erosion of individuality, diminishing one’s capability to authentically perceive the inner self. The precious realm of subconsciousness, where the most valuable aspects of one’s emotional being reside, becomes suppressed and forgotten. Inspired by coffee foams, artist went on a spontaneous journey, creating a serious of detailed portraits.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The piece“Coffee" traverses a spectrum from traditional hand-drawn to sculptural, extending into the field of virtual space, fostering a profound odyssey through a sensational world. Through these diverse mediums and expressions, the Artist endeavors to evoke aspects of the audience’s imprisoned spirits across various dimensions, attempting to unveil the most authentic spiritual landscape concealed behind the numbness of individuals within the problematic social system.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Viewing from afar or close up, viewers have the freedom to interact with the piece and connect on a personal emotional level. The drawings are done in very detailed manner, artist also tried to make it work aesthetically from afar, make each insignificant coffee foam and bubble pop up, enlarge the room and environment, make the viewer feel like inside a cup of coffee.
