DESIGN NAME: Treatise on Painting
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book
INSPIRATION: Zverev is metaphorical, laconic, plays with words as masterly as he handles a brush - many of his poetic lines are instantly etched in the memory, and his treatises surprise with the depth and paradox of his thoughts.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The publication uses graphic works by the great Russian artist A. Zverev from the collection of the AZ Museum and the archive of D. Apazidiv. This treatise is dedicated to G. Costakis, a collector and donor, a man who collected and promoted the works of Anatoly Zverev. The project idea was based on the idea of creating a two-part book under one cover.
