RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I think the meaning of the ring is more important than just the ring as a token of marriage,
The biggest goal was to unravel the keyword "life and death, but invisible love that continues" into the ring.
In order to mean 'Yeonriji' and "life and death" at the same time, the direction of the trees was twisted together to complete a unique heart shape.
CHALLENGE: I made an effort to consistently arrange the heart shapes of 'Yeonriji,'; while artistically engraving leaves in between to structure and design the margins.
The height of the tree had to be comfortable when worn on the finger, and special attention was given to ensure that individually crafted leaves, serving a functional role in connecting and securing the spaces between the trees, did not cause discomfort.
