| DESIGN NAME: Confluence of Initial Intentions PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: As the most frequently used home devices in daily life, a selected telescopic dining table that can be adjusted in size to reach the needs of the homeowner for only simple meals or whole family gatherings. Moreover, the decoration of two elegant moon-shaped pendant lights, to conduct a sense of security like a campfire. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A sliding door is decorated with multiple use between the study partition and sofa back wall, in order to offer diversify purposes, such as an open study area or a convertible hidden guest room, cleverly incorporating a storage lift bed into the display bookcase design. Furthermore, the unique and playful elements are presented by putting blue-gold mottled paint as a highlighted point at the hallway junction to connect the public area and private domain. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Upon stepping into the door entrance, we use a wood grain color paired with light gray stone-patterned floor tiles, to blend the foyer area with the dining space together, also plan this extension of the stone-patterned dining table and kitchen island to make the most of kitchen usage. To achieve all the functions of a perfect kitchen, we design an overall L-shaped layout able to connect all kitchen appliances in series, with a retractable aluminum-framed door to avoid oil fume pollution. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Use light strips on the curved ceiling to give the space a sense of flowing light, and modify the abruptness of the beams through the styling area. Use a hidden retractable dining table to add more usable space, which can be stored when not in use. The built-in rotating shoe rack in the entrance shoe cabinet can be used in the same way to increase storage usage. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: 130 square meter TAGS: engineered hardwood flooring, Italian paint, iron parts, grille, titanium plating RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The pivot concept of master bedroom focuses on intellectual. The combination of two separated materials at the headboard, letting art coating and stone to flow along curved line to the makeup table near the pair of glass doors, hence, presents an exclusive visual feast for the user. Then the soft light blue storage cabinets prevent the space from feeling limited while maintaining functionality. CHALLENGE: The main bathroom generates a hotel-like quality, with a four-piece bathroom suite and double sink design merged into luxurious stone-patterned thin brick walls, allowing the body and mind to immerse in a comforting atmosphere then wash away the fatigue after the whole day work.
