The design team has integrated cutting edge technology into the sleek, pure black form to demonstrate a deep appreciation for technology and a commitment to elegance in both material selection and detail treatment, delivering a new energy experience and visual delight to modern households.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This PV module utilizes the high efficiency HPBC black battery technology, which results in a distinctive pure black appearance and offers benefits, including low carbon emissions, environmental sustainability, safety, reliability, and stable power. The module presents a novel technological solution for home PV systems. To meet the aesthetic demands of modern PV product users, the module is based on the concept of Technology to Beauty, which balances technology and artistic beauty.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The principle of diffuse reflection is at the core of the structural glass design, which distributes light evenly and repeatedly in different directions. It reduces the generation of glare, enhances visual comfort, and mitigates light pollution. The microdimensional surface of the glass has been crafted to be less susceptible to fingerprints, presenting a cleaner appearance and facilitating user maintenance. The design team has streamlined the process to ensure easy and quick installation.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The product is scheduled to launch in the European market in April 2024, followed by other markets worldwide.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The HPBC technology optimises the power temperature coefficient, generating power more stably. The front design eliminates solder strips and grid lines, allowing it to receive light from multiple angles. The full backside soldering technique improves the resistance to hidden cracks. The bifacial glass and double POE structure also reduces module attenuation and the risk of failure. Furthermore, the structural glass features an artistic micro-carving texture, enhancing its appearance.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The increasing demand for clean energy has led to the widespread adoption of home PV systems to utilise renewable energy. However, the traditional design of PV modules often clashes with the aesthetics of household buildings and fails to efficiently utilise solar energy. To address this issue, a PV module with elegant styling and pure black colour has been created. Meanwhile, it features advanced technology to improve PV conversion efficiency, thereby maximising energy output.
CHALLENGE: The challenge is to achieve the visual effect of pure black. The module employs an HPBC black battery, and a front gridless design with low reflective texturing technique ensures no discernible colour difference between the batteries when viewed from multiple angles. The antireflective film with optimised thickness reduces the intensity of bluelight reflections, lending each battery a pure black colour. Structural glass further ensures uniform black colour across all installation angles.
